How to Play
Objective: Balance the sum of black tiles with the sum of white tiles by swapping tiles.
Gameplay
- Tap any two tiles, one after the other, to swap their numbers.
- Keep swapping until both sums match—or until you can’t swap anymore.
- Your initial score is 100. Each swap between a black and a white tile will lower your score by 1.
- There are 25 tiles in total, 12 black and 13 white.
- The game ends when you reach a perfect balance, quit, or run out of points.
Undo
- Use the UNDO button to undo the last move.
- Using it will cost you a point.
Clues
- A box below the grid dynamically changes color based on the comparison of sums.
- The dominant color (greater sum) is shown in the box.
- If the sums are equal, the box turns green and the game is over.
Optional Clues
These clues make the game far easier to play. Use the CLUE button in the main interface to toggle additional clues from 3 more clue boxes.
The 3 clue boxes look like this:
Black Sum
Difference
White Sum
They show the sums of black/white tiles, the target sum, and the difference between the black and white sums. You can use them to zero in on a combination that works.
Additionally, each swap is logged in the format:
■ [B5→W10] □
- Initial Symbol (■): Represents the state before the swap. In this case, the sum of black tiles is greater.
- Swap Details ([B5→W10]): Indicates a swap from a Black tile with the number 5 to a White tile with the number 10.
- Final Symbol (□): Represents the state after the swap. Here, the sum of white tiles is now greater.
Use this information to understand how your swaps affect the sums and guide your strategy.
